I received a text message sent from SearchBug. Can you tell me who sent it?

No, as we do require users to identify themselves. We do collect user IP addresses in our log files for audit purposes and to prevent abuse.

You can block your phone number to prevent users from sending you text messages from SearchBug.

How do I know that the message was delivered?

We cannot guarantee the delivery, but if you've used this tool successfully in the past, there should not be a problem.

If you are sending a message for the first time, call the person and check if they received the message. If they did not, ask them their cell phone company name and select it from the list. Try selecting "I don't know" and let us figure it out.
